Evergreen Forest Railing

A collaboration of ideas to create an evergreen forest. We combined a railing, a picture, and steel into one work of art. We drew a two-dimensional picture cut it from flat steel to mimic a three-dimensional sculpture. By over lapping the flat cutouts and placing some behind and others in front, we ended up with four levels of artwork. The viewpoint of the mimicked sculpture develops as you walk, giving you a different response from each position.
