Vance Curves has been building products for over 17 years. During that time we have rarely built the same thing twice. We have always worked with fit, form, & function when building a new creation. What that means for us when we speak of 'form' the piece we are building has to look like it should preform the way the client wants it to work, or it has to look like it going to work well. If we are building a fish railing it has to look like a railing first, then it has to be obvious the artwork is part of the structure, and the client can tell what it is at first sight. 'Fit' means to us the piece must fit the space it was made for. The bends and angles must match the slopes and space that is prominent for that spot. For us 'function' is the most important element of the design and build process. The over all goal is that when the commission is installed it will work as intended for many years. We have achieved that goal.
Vance Curves is embarking on a new project direction. Along with fit, form, function we want to add finish to our tool box. We want the furniture we design and build to look like it belongs in your living room. We want to explore color and texture when it comes to metal. We want to work with natural and painted finishes on metal. We want to combine different metals. We want to combine steel, copper, stainless steel, aluminum, and brass with wood, and fabric. We offer the creative person the option to design the next generation of awesome looks. Contact Vance Curves today and we can start work on your awesome project.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
